ALOR STAR: Isuzu Malaysia has opened its second 3S (sales, services and spare-parts) centre in the state to support the growing demand for its vehicles in Perak, Kedah and Penang.

Indah Utara Isuzu Sdn Bhd at Jalan Gangsa in Mergong, near here, is the country's 29th Isuzu 3S centre.

Isuzu's first 3S centre in Kedah is in Sungai Petani.

"Since the launch of our new trucks in 2010, we have been experiencing a 100 per cent increase in our sales volume," said Isuzu Malaysia chief executive officer Kimitoshi Kurokawa.

"The new centre will be helpful in handling the growing demand from customers in the northern region."

Kurokawa said there would be five more outlets in the country before the end of the year.

"With more 3S centres, we will be able to provide customers with a more comprehensive range of services and better facilities.

"We will also be able to respond more quickly to meet their needs," added Kurokawa.

Also present were Isuzu Malaysia chief operating officer Daisuke Ishida, general manager Katsuro Ishihara, deputy general manager Katsuhiro Koizumi and Indah Utara managing director Poh Seng Hoi. By Fariza Uzmat
