GEORGE TOWN: Looking for a new direction in life, artist Kally Liew Soon Fong has taken a journey into the mysterious realm of the universe in her inaugural solo exhibition at Galeri Seni Mutiara at Whiteaways Arcade on Lebuh Gereja.

The exhibition was held in conjunction with the month-long George Town Festival which ended recently.

Themed "Universe Series -- Solo Oil Painting Exhibition", it featured 36 oil paintings which depicted colourful celestial bodies. Beautician Sharon Ng launched the exhibition.

At the launch reception, Liew said her paintings reflected her deep appreciation for the universe which she believed supported life on earth. By Paul Toh
