    SHOW OF PATRIOTISM: 24 divisions of Perak Advancement and Integration Association declare support for Malaysian flag

    IPOH: REPRESENTATIVES from some 24 divisions of the Perak Advancement and Integration Association recently organised a Support the Malaysian Flag event.

    The event was held outside the Ipoh Central Police Station, here.

    Association chairman, N. Ramu, said this event was aimed at promoting the use of the Jalur Gemilang and instilling the spirit of patrotism among the people regarding the importance of Merdeka.

    Also present was adviser R. Ganeson, who said that the association was recently launched by Perak Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.

    Presently, the association has about 10,000 members.

    The objective of the association is to promote unity among races.
