TAN Yoke Lian, 62, a boutique owner, grabbed the title of "Most Photogenic Mama" in the 51-years-old and above category.

She not only a mother of four, she is a grandmother of eight.

Her secret to staying young is exercising and getting enough sleep.

She walked away with a trophy and cash vouchers worth RM8,000.

June Alison Newton, 36, a finance adviser, won in the 35 to-50-years-old category.

She received a trophy and cash vouchers worth RM1,800.

Newton, who has two children, keeps herself beautiful by eating nutritious food.

The first runner-up in the 51-year-old category was Yong Tai Chie, 62, a businesswoman and second runner-up, Cheang Poh Peng, 54, a housewife.

In the 35 to 50-years-old category, the first-runner-up was Chang Meei Yan, 48, a teacher and second runner-up, Liew Mee Mui, 46, a beautician.

All received trophies, cash and sponsored gifts at the contest held at Ipoh Parade.

Shoppers were entertained with a Mothers Day fashion show later.

The 45-minute show saw both adult and child models parading in casual and evening wear.

Ipoh Parade marketing manager Vicky Lee said that this was the first time it was holding a photography contest for mothers.

"We received 45 entries. The criteria for selecting the winners were natural facial expression and the photogenic quality," she said.

The fashion show finale of bridesmaid dresses for children and red-hot dresses for mothers.
