    Village's only road a risk to users

    THE road in Kampung Kuala Dulang Besar in Yan near here is in need of repair. The single-lane road, the only link for the 800-odd villagers to Yan town, is riddled with potholes in many parts of the five-kilometre stretch.

    The area's federal village security and development committee member Romli Hashim said the village's main link to the outside must be repaired fast.

    "When it was built about 12 years ago, the road was basically for us to move around in the village and to transport our agricultural products to Yan.

    "Vehicles using the road were fewer then but things have changed dramatically over the years," said Romli.
