MOTORISTS plying Jalan Teres 8/1B in Shah Alam are having difficulty finding directions as the road signage has been damaged.
A resident, who wished to be known only as K.H., said he noticed the damaged signage on Feb 16.
“Since then, the road sign has been left unrepaired.”
He said besides causing confusion, this could endanger motorists and pedestrians.
He said motorists had problem taking the correct turn due to the lack of signage.
He said the authorities should repair or install a new road signage.
The Shah Alam City Council (SACC) has assured the public that it will replace the road sign soon.
A spokesman from SACC’s Engineering Department said council personnel had been despatched to the site to clear debris of the damaged road sign.
“Any concerns or complaints can be made to the council’s toll-free line at 1800-88-4477.”
She said a new pole and signage would be erected soon for road users’ convenience.
