UMW chief Badrul Feisal passes away

KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Holdings Bhd has today announced the passing of its president and group chief executive officer Badrul Feisal Abdul Rahim.

He was 50 years old at the time of his death.

In a Facebook post, UMW said Badrul Feisal had died at 7.45pm on May 31 at KPJ Ampang Puteri Hospital here.

Badrul Feisal, who died of a heart attack, had served as the president and group CEO since October 1, 2015.

According to UMW official website, Badrul Feisal had been involved in the senior management and directorship of established organisations such as Khazanah Nasional Bhd , Proton, Lotus and the DRB-HICOM group of companies.

He initially joined the company as a senior general manager in December 2010.

"He is currently an adjunct professor at the Manufacturing Engineering Centre of Learning , Universiti Malaysia Perlis, and a member of UniKL Industrial Advisory Board of University Kuala Lumpur," it said.
