Revenue Monster, ShopeePay to bring cashless payment for businesses, consumers

KUALA LUMPUR: Revenue Monster is partnering with ShopeePay Malaysia Sdn Bhd to bring alternative cashless payment solutions for businesses and consumers to over 13,000 merchant points.

Revenue Monster is a Malaysian-based financial technologies company.

The company claimed that it had pioneered solutions to help fast-track business digitisation through a fully digital ecosystem.

Revenue Monster chief executive officer Amanda Chin said with ShopeePay now available through the former, it could provide even more cashless payments options to businesses nationwide.

"This is the next step in our continued effort for our merchant's online store & bricks and mortar business," said Chin in a statement today.

Revenue Monster's unified payments solutions features payment acceptance enablement for 14 eWallets, MasterCard, Visa and FPX for online banking.

"Revenue Monster's payment solutions are set to bring greater ease of use and a streamlined payment experience to millions of Malaysian businesses pivoting to digitalisation in line with the standard operating procedure (SOPs) for the current Movement Control Order (MCO)," Chin said.

She said going into the third MCO, cashless payments were now a critical asset for merchants to provide contactless customer experience.

"With this announcement, merchants will be able to utilise ShopeePay and get their customers to safely and seamlessly go contactless whether at their brick and mortar store or their online shop,"  she said.

ShopeePay is now accepted as one of the checkout payment options for any in-store or online transactions, including Revenue Monster's à la carte online superstore solution – a platform that helps businesses to own an online shop on the fly and acquire more customers.

Businesses under the Revenue Monster network will be able to leverage on ShopeePay's ongoing cashback campaign where users will be receiving a daily RM3 cashback with a minimum spend of RM15, thereby adding more value to consumers.

ShopeePay Malaysia head Alain Yee said as one of the fastest-growing mobile wallets in Malaysia, the company was committed to making ShopeePay the most convenient and viable cashless payment option for all Malaysians.

"Our partnership with Revenue Monster will be able to expand the reach and usability of ShopeePay, thereby providing Malaysians with a quicker, easier and safer payment method when they shop both online and offline," said Yee.
