KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Darulaman Bhd (BDB) has appointed Raja Shahreen Raja Othman as its group chief executive officer effective from Nov 1.
According to BDB's filing to Bursa Malysia today, Raja Shahreen started his career at Ernst & Young in 1989 before assuming the position of director in 2000 and continued serving until 2004.
He then served as chief financial officer at Pos Malaysia Bhd from March 1, 2004 to Aug 31, 2007.
He then pursued his career as general manager cum chief financial office and company secretary at Oman Oil Marketing Company SAOG from Nov 1, 2007 until June 30, 2013.
From Nov 7, 2013 to Nov 30, 2014, Raja Shahreen served as chief financial officer of Duta Klasik Sdn Bhd.
On Dec 1, 2014 to Nov 30, 2019, he held a position as group chief executive officer of Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated).
Raja Shahreen was appointed as a non-independent non-executive director of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd on March 31, 2015 before being re-designated as non-executive chairman on June 21, 2018 and resigned on Jan 17, 2020.
