Pavilion Damansara Heights to begin operations in May next year

KUALA LUMPUR: Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall will open to customers in May 2023, with over 70 per cent of the retail space committed by tenants to date.

The mall, nestled in the neighbourhood of Damansara Heights, spans over one million sq ft across six floors and is poised to be the ultimate customer-centric destination.

"The broad reopening of our border and the return of foreign tourists to Malaysia bodes well for Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall and our tenants as we get ready for our soft opening in May 2023," said Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd chief executive officer (retail) Datuk Joyce Yap in a statement.

She added that the mall would eventually have around 380 retail outlets.

The company noted that the number of tenants is expected to increase until the mall's soft opening in May next year.

The management is confident that the mall's location and development concept will appeal to investors and businesses as Malaysia regains a semblance of normalcy after struggling with a pandemic.

The mall's carefully picked tenant mix reflected its commitment towards a data-driven destination to allow better decision-making for stakeholders to maintain its competitive edge and add value to the neighbourhood while creating close to 4,000 jobs, in addition to various economic multiplier effects.

"We will continue to perfect our approach as we take into consideration prevailing and projected market trends so that the mall will continue to stand out as a must-visit location for locals and tourists when it opens soon," said Yap.
