Hyundai: Used car programme to regulate resale value

KUALA LUMPUR: Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) hopes its Hyundai Promise Approved Used Car Programme (Hyundai Promise) can help regulate the resale value of Hyundai used cars in Malaysia.

HSDM managing director Low Yuan Lung said the programme, owned and managed by HSDM and supported by Sime Darby Auto Selection, is an important business segment that complements Hyundai's existing business ecosystem.

"Hyundai Promise offers customers a full circle of sales services from purchasing their first new Hyundai model to trading in their vehicles for a newer model at attractive deals. We promise good quality vehicles and worry-free ownership as the name of the programme suggests.

"Customers who make their purchase from Hyundai Promise will enjoy wonderful benefits including quality assurance, financial solutions, and extended warranty."

At its core, the programme was made to offer customers an effortless and reliable way to trade-in and buy pre-owned Hyundai vehicles.

The company promises pre-owned Hyundai models sold through the programme come with genuine parts along with the original engine.

Stringent and rigorous inspections will be carried out by trained technicians to ensure that all vehicles are in optimal electrical and mechanical condition before they are approved and certified.

Additionally, Hyundai assures that vehicles sold are also major accident-free so customers can have peace of mind when purchasing these vehicles.

All approved and certified vehicles come with an extended warranty of between two to five years depending on the age of the vehicle and the clocked-in mileage.

All pre-owned cars are covered by the manufacturer and dealer's warranty as well as a 24-hour road assistance service.

Interested parties can head over to the Hyundai Promise centre located at Lot 33, Temasya Industrial Park, Glenmarie, Shah Alam.

The centre is open from 9am to 5pm on weekdays, 9am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.
