AFTER YouTube and Twitter, it's TikTok's turn to embrace the latest feature of the moment on social networks, offering users the option of speeding up or slowing down content.
Patience is a virtue not often found on social network users. With so much content available and so many platforms, users have fast access to the information they're looking for. So much so that now, they want everything, right away. And social networks have understood this.
On TikTok it's now possible to speed up or slow down a video. With a long press on the content in question, the "playback speed" feature becomes available, offering four options: the normal speed, accelerated to 1.5x or 2x, as well as slowed down to 0.5x.
In addition to this feature, TikTok offers the possibility of activating automatic content scrolling. This way, users won't need to scroll manually to see the next video.
