Tried & Tested: Nu Skin's Ageloc Boost

WHEN it comes to skincare, I've always taken the basic approach — cleanse, tone, moisturise.

When needed, I add serums and hydrating masks to my routine but electronic beauty devices or tools have never been part of my repertoire.

But there's always a first time for everything so I decided to give Nu Skin's Ageloc Boost a try, mainly because this beauty device is supposed to be super user friendly and does what it has to do in just two minutes.

This small, hand-held device has been designed to be used with the Ageloc Boost Activating Serum and it is remarkably easy to use. Just turn it on by swiping your finger up the full length of the touch surface and then dispense three pumps of the activating serum onto the treatment surface.

Move the device by gliding it over your face in an upward motion. It's that simple. Do this for one minute over one half of the face and then, dispense the serum again and repeat the process on the other half.

HIGH-TECH BEAUTY

The device uses an exclusive microcurrent waveform with variable pulse technology to help skin get brighter, plumper and bouncier. It also addresses issues like signs of premature ageing, pigmentation and dehydration.

But it's the device's simplicity of use that is its biggest selling point. It's an easy process that one can pull off anywhere, whether you're at your office desk, working on your laptop at home or just sitting on the sofa watching TV.

The device comes with a small charger and I just plugged it into my laptop to keep it charged and ready for use while I was working on my deadlines.

The fact that the device is small and compact and can easily be slipped into a handbag gives it an edge. But its best feature is that it only takes two minutes, a blessing for a working mum like me. I like the fact that I can wrap up my beauty routine quickly and, more importantly, use this device anytime, anywhere.
