#FASHION: Puma re-releases Slipstream with NCT 127

Released in 1987 as a sneaker for basketball players, Puma Slipstream is now re-released with a collaboration with Korean boy band NCT 127.

The new iteration has added street sensibilities while retaining its 80s design heritage. It features a clean silhouette, bold midsole design and an updated overlay, which adds a modern feel.

The Slipstream in black and white is seen on NCT 127 members for the shoe's advertising campaign.

As part of the launch, Puma is gifting consumers an exclusive Puma x NCT 127 photocard set with every purchase of the Slipstream.

The campaign is composed of styles and themes that represent the retro vibes of the 80s.

It nails the vintage street concept, reproducing the graffiti, basketball, vintage cars and shops that recall the mood of that time, with the members of NCT 127 showing off their unique character.

The group members, known to be sports enthusiasts, are displayed with bikes, basketballs, and other items that perfectly match the filming's concept of activity.

The collection was released on Sept 15 on puma.com, official Puma stores, and JD Sports.
