#Showbiz: Zydee of One Nation Emcees suffers brain haemorrhage

KUALA LUMPUR: Member of local hip hop group One Nation Emcees, Zydee Edris, who suffered a brain haemorrhage that led to a stroke is currently in stable condition.

The 40-year-old artiste is currently in the ICU of Hospital Queen Elizabeth II in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Fellow group mate Kozae Murtaza said that Zydee had to rest well since he was still very weak.

"I was told that the incident happened yesterday (on Saturday) while Zydee was being treated in the hospital.

"Before this, Zydee had complained of feeling unwell and had asked to be taken to the hospital," he said in a news report yesterday.

Although Kozae went to the hospital yesterday to visit Zydee, he was denied permission since there was strict SOP enforced.

"However, the doctor told me that Zydee is in stable condition and is now conscious.

"It's just that his memory is still weak because of a blood clot in his brain," he said.

Kozae added that Zydee was currently still being treated in the ICU as the doctors monitor his situation closely.

"Although he is stable, his current condition does not permit for a transfer to a regular ward yet.

"To those who know Zydee, I hope that you will all pray for his speedy recovery," he said.
