#Showbiz: Misha stops fertility treatments to focus on concert

KUALA LUMPUR: Half way through her fertility treatments, singer Misha Omar has decided to put a halt to it.

The 39-year-old artiste who is due to perform at OSK Bersama Bintang concert at Istana Budaya on Oct 30, said that she came to this decision for fear that she would not able to sing and perform well should she fall pregnant.

"I received the invitation to perform at the concert sometime in April, but because of the Movement Control Order (MCO), we weren't sure if it would take place at all.

"So then I decided to go on with fertility treatments in my efforts to conceive again," she said in a news report today.

Misha added that she was already half way through the fertility treatments which began in June, when she found out that the concert would go on as planned after all.

She also expressed gratitude to her husband Firros Ezzwan Rosly for understanding her predicament and supported her choice

"He's a great guy. He knows that I love him, but at the same time I'm equally passionate about my work.

"Besides being my life partner, he's also my No.1 fan. He understands that I need to focus on one thing at a time," shared Misha adding that her husband did not want her to be stressed out with work pressure while pregnant.

The couple have a son, Muhammad Idris Ezzwa, 5. Misha also has an adopted son, Muhammad Adam Emir, 15.
