KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Siti Saida Tarudin better known as Saida tied the knot with the man of her choice named Aizal yesterday.
This marks the 44-year-old artiste's third time at matrimony.
The good news was shared by her younger sibling who is also Malaysia's No.1 singer, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, on her Instagram account.
In the entry, Siti expressed her hopes that the new marriage will be one that lasts.
"Praise be to God, the nikah ceremony of my beloved elder sister Siti Norsaida Tarudin with her new husband has been completed.
"I pray that she will experience happiness till Jannah. Thank you to my dear husband who was also present even though he had earlier participated in a mountain bike cycling competition in Putrajaya. Love you darling," she wrote.
Siti also shared several photos in an Instagram Story that featured a resplendent Saida in a white gown while her husband was decked out in a contrasting black-and-white suit.
Apparently, the guests who attended the event were treated to a music performance by their young niece Umairah.
No further details on her new husband and the event have been released as of yet.
Previously, Saida married Mohd Ghazali Yahya Zikri on Dec 14 of 1996 but the couple split on Oct 7, 2011.
They were blessed with four children, namely Siti Nurunnyssa, Anas, Khalid and Siti Nurul Mashitah.
Saida then married businessman Hafiizh Che Mat in 2016 but news reports are sketchy on the date of their divorce.
