KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer-songwriter Faizal Tahir and his wife Siti Raihanim Noran have just welcomed a new addition to their big family.
On Tuesday, their seventh child was born at a private hospital in town, and Faizal shared the good news on Instagram the same day.
"Thank you God! It is the happiest day of my life," said Faizal in his Instagram post which was accompanied with a photo of his newborn baby's tiny hand holding on to his finger.
"Thank you, too, all my friends and fans who have prayed for our baby's safe journey into the world."
The birth of Faizal's new baby, whose gender has yet to be disclosed by the artiste, received more than 65,000 likes and 882 comments from Netizens. They included well-known artistes such as Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Akim Ahmad, Khai Bahar, Siti Elizad Sharifuddin, Hael Husaini, Haziq Hussni, Ajai and Ahmad Fedtri Yahya.
"Subhanallah! Congratulations to Faizal and family on the birth of their newest baby," said Siti.
"Masyaallah! Heartiest congratulations to Faizal and family," said Siti Elizad.
"Tahniah to Faizal and wife on the birth of their seventh child. God bless," said Khai.
Faizal and Siti Raihanim tied the knot in 2001 and have three sons and three daughters, aged between six and 16.
