KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Raja Ilya is now five months pregnant with her first child together with her Australian businessman husband Trent Garrett.
The 36-year-old Ipoh-born artiste whose real name is Raja Ramilah Begum Raja Mohammad took to social media yesterday to share the good news.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "Praise be to God, yes it's true, I'm expecting."
The actress who is currently living in Perth, Australia added: "Everything is going smoothly. We are very happy over here even though I really miss Malaysia, and I want to head home to Ipoh to see my family. I miss filming and meeting up with friends."
"Seeing that I will be giving birth in Australia, I hope many of you will be able to share some tips with me.
"One thing I've experienced so far in these five months is that it's hard and not easy to be a mother.
"Phew, but at the same time, I'm really excited and grateful," she said.
Raja Ilya ended the post with, "Thank you for all the well-wishes, love and support from all of you all this time."
Her entry, which was accompanied by several pictures including one showing a positive result on a pregnancy test kit, has so far garnered over 32,500 likes and close to a thousand positive comments.
