KUALA LUMPUR: The song, originally composed for the late singer Siti Sarah Raissuddin titled Sudah, will be released on Friday.
Comedian Shuib of Sepahtu fame took to Instagram recently to share a video of his late wife practising singing the single, a composition by singer-songwrier Naim Daniel.
"Praise be to God, the song you were supposed to record has now a new singer, thanks to Nikki Palikat," he wrote in the caption accompanying the post.
In a previous news report, Naim had said that the project was stalled when Siti Sarah passed away before they could record it.
Meanwhile, Nikki also shared a teaser video with clips from the filming of the music video for Sudah.
Siti Sarah breathed her last after giving birth to her fourth child on Aug 9 last year, due to Covid-19.
