#Showbiz: BTS performs 'Yet To Come' for the first time to celebrate 9th anniversary

KUALA LUMPUR: In celebration of its 9th anniversary yesterday, K-Pop juggernaut BTS held a live show where the group performed its new single Yet To Come for the first time.

The tune was initially released together with the music outfit's anthology album, Proof, on June 10 which was also accompanied by a music video.

According to Soompi, the event also saw an appearance by American rapper Anderson .Paak on drums, who BTS members Jimin, Suga and RM recently hung out with backstage at his Silk Sonic concert with Bruno Mars.

Apparently, Proof has been an astounding hit with over 2 million copies sold on the day of its release, in addition to topping the iTunes Top Albums and Top Songs charts around the world.

It was also reported that BTS' Spotify debut with Yet To Come broke the K-Pop titan's own record for highest number of first-day streams of any Korean-language song released on the streaming service.

The seven-member music group celebrates its anniversary every June 13 with the BTS Festa event.

During the Festa, the boys organise a compilation of performances, new songs, covers, dance choreographies or remakes of their songs to honour their legion of fans worldwide, lovingly dubbed Army.
