#Showbiz: Hantu Raya Pergi Perang, Adibah Noor's last drama project

KUALA LUMPUR: The filming of telemovie Hantu Raya Pergi Perang has left its co-directors Wan Hasliza and Wan Alak with a bittersweet feeling, as it marked the last time they worked with multi-talented artiste Adibah Noor just before she succumbed to stage 4 ovarian cancer last month.

Wan Hasliza said that Adibah had never mentioned about her health condition.

"While Adibah was feeling a little unwell at the start of filming in April, she insisted that she wanted to continue to be involved in the telemovie," she said in a news report today.

"She memorised her lines well, and even drove herself to the film set which was considerably far.

"Even after she had her surgery, she wanted to resume work straight away, but we told her to get some rest first," said Wan Hasliza, adding that news of Adibah's passing on June 18 came as a shock to her.

Hantu Raya Pergi Perang is available for streaming on Sooka app.
