#Showbiz: Tickets for my concert are not overpriced, says Noraniza Idris

KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Noraniza Idris denies that tickets for her upcoming October concert at Istana Budaya are overpriced.

The 53-year-old artiste who is known for her traditional pop music or Irama Malaysia songs said that the tickets were priced accordingly to the show planned for the three-day concert which will run from Oct 21.

"Are the tickets expensive? I think they're reasonably priced compared to the prices for other concerts held here (Istana Budaya) previously.

"After doing some checking, we found out that tickets are usually between RM250 and RM1,100. So I just marked it up a little bit," she said at the Konsert Malai Solo Noraniza Idris press conference in Istana Budaya here, yesterday.

Noraniza added that what she would be presenting at the concert, with the help of renowned musicians such as Datuk Ramli MS, would be money well-spent by concertgoers.

To be organised by NIPV Management Sdn Bhd, the two-hour concert costs a whopping RM3 million. It is sponsored by MRF Consultant Sdn Bhd, a property consultancy company.
