KUALA LUMPUR: Due to the overwhelming response from fans towards the upcoming concert by Indonesian rock band Ungu at Menara PGRM here, organiser Star Planet has added another show night on Nov 18.
In a recent statement Star Planet said: "In less than an hour after ticket sales were launched on Aug 30, over 85 per cent of tickets were snapped up. We are very excited and hope that the additional date will satisfy all of the Ungu fans."
It added that fans would be able to purchase tickets to the added show from noon owards tomorrow (Sept 7).
Formed in 1996, the popular Indonesian band is made up of vocalist Pasha, guitarists Enda dan Oncy, with bassist Makki and drummer Rowman. Ungu's upcoming concert here on Nov 18 & 19 at 8.30pm at the STAR Convention & Exhibition Centre in Menara PGRM is held in conjunction with the band's 26th anniversarry celebrations.
Tickets, priced at RM188, RM238, RM328, RM388, RM458 and RM598, are available for purchase at www.ticket2u.com.my. Those who purchase VVIP tickets will receive a poster signed by the band members and the opportunity to snap photos with Ungu.
