KUALA LUMPUR: Citing several factors, singer Noraniza Idris has decided to postpone her debut solo concert indefinitely.
In a media statement, the 54-year-old artiste said that the concert, dubbed Konsert Malai Solo Noraniza Idris originally scheduled to be staged at Istana Budaya's Panggung Sari from Oct 21 to 23, had to be postponed due to several factors.
"It is with regret that this project by Noraniza Idris Production Ventures Sdn Bhd has to be postponed to another date.
"Due to several circumstances which include the absence of music director Datuk Ramli MS as he is currently exclusively involved with Gegar Vaganza Season 9, and the possibility of the general election being held in October or November, I have been advised to have the concert at a later date," she said in the statement.
Noraniza also added that her inability to reduce her other current commitments had also taken a toll on her well-being and health, which could affect her performance.
