KUALA LUMPUR: In the run-up to the tabling of 2023 Budget by Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz at 4pm tomorrow, TV3 is airing a special programme.
Hosted by Mior Abd Malek Raiyani and Azaria Tagaya, the 2023 Budget talk show titled Program Bual Bicara Bajet 2023 will go on air at 3pm for three and half hours, with two invited guests who are well-versed in economy: Former Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani and Rafizi Ramli.
Among the topics they will discuss during the show are Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Overnight Policy Rate (OPR), and Ringgit value.
There will also be an augmented reality interactive session which will provide information and economic data throughout the show.
Meanwhile on 8TV at 3.30pm, there will be a 30-minute Pre-Budget special programme to be hosted by Wang Chun Pin. Joining her are guests – Dr Wong Chin Yoong, an economic professor from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman; and Datuk Koong Lin Loong, Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) treasurer.
At 8pm, during its Mandarin News, a special segment on 2023 Budget will have Dr Saizi Xiao from Nottingham University Malaysia and Ng Zhu Hann, an economic analyst, discussing the budget.
