#Showbiz: Eina and Heliza keep mum over alleged 'fake Datukships' of husbands

KUALA LUMPUR: Actresses Datin Paduka Eina Azman and Datin Seri Heliza Helmi have declined to comment on their respective husbands' alleged "fake Datukships".

Attempts to contact the duo today went unanswered, both on WhatsApp and the telephone.

Eina did not disclose her whereabouts on Instagram either, and instead uploaded a brief video of herself preparing some of her recipes in the kitchen.

As for Heliza, she uploaded a brief video of herself doing voiceover work for an educational and religious radio programme, alongside her sister Hazwani Helmi.

Last week, some Netizens alleged on Facebook that Heliza's husband, businessman Datuk Seri Mahadi Badrul Zaman's Datuk title was "fake".

A Netizen identified as Aliff Ahmad claimed that Mahadi's Datuk Seri title was not listed by the official website of the Ruler who bestowed it on him.

Other Netizens later claimed that the Datuk title of Eina's businessman husband Datuk Paduka Kaiser Gurmeet Abdullah was not in the Ruler's official website.

Yesterday, former actress and businesswoman Datin Fouziah Gous said that her businessman husband Datuk Zhafran Md Yusof did not need to prove that his Datuk title was genuine as it was bestowed by one of the Rulers in 2016.

Fouziah said that if her husband's title was fake, the Ruler would have revoked it by now.
