#Showbiz: Singer Tulus to entertain KL fans in January

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular Indonesian singer-songwriter Tulus will be holding a concert at the Plenary Hall in KLCC here on Jan 6, 2023.

The 35-year-old artiste of Minangkabau descent will be performing as part of the Fabulous Friday Presents series of concerts organised by Shiraz Projects.

Fans can expect the award-winning crooner to belt out songs from his latest album, Manusia, as well as his string of hits from previous studio releases.

Tulus had previously serenaded fans during his successful Tulus Live at Istana Budaya and Sewindu Tour KL concerts.

"It's been such a long time since I last saw my fans in KL. I hope the mutual longing will disappear once I see you all again at the Plenary Hall.

"We can all sing together then," said Tulus in a statement from the organisers yesterday.

Shiraz Projects managing director, Shirazdeen Karim, added: "It is our responsibility to bring Tulus back to KL. He will be performing his quality songs together with a live band."

"His presence will not only provide a balm for fans who miss him but also for us to learn in terms of the production and material standards from our fellow artistes from abroad.

"I believe that these are things we should make an effort to present, not just as entertainment, but as a way to gain experience," he said.

Tickets to the Fabulous Friday Presents Tulus concert are priced at RM950 (VIP), RM550 (Diamond), RM450 (Platinum), RM350 (Gold) and RM250 (Silver).
