KUALA LUMPUR: Songstress Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, actress Maya Karin and singer-actress Elizabeth Tan received an award each at the McM Global Awards 2022 last night.
Organised by McMillan Woods Global, a global network of independent local and regional firms of recognised qualified accountants and professional advisors, the awards event recognises excellence in various fields.
"It's an honour. It's always nice to be appreciated for my contributions to the arts," said Maya, 43, after receiving the Entertainment Industry Excellence Of The Year trophy at Shangri-La Hotel here.
Tan, who was announced recipient for the Female Performing Artiste Excellence award, was equally ecstatic to receive the trophy alongside her Abang Long Fadil 3 co-star.
"I'm honoured to just be here. It's good to be at an event again after so long," said the 29-year-old artiste.
Meanwhile, Siti, who had to give the event a miss due to an emergency, was awarded with the Most Inspiring Visionary Singer Of The Year award.
