#Showbiz: K-Pop group Eight Apex to hold debut KL concert in January

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular new K-Pop group Eight Apex will be having its first concert, Epex 1st Concert (Eight Apex) In Kuala Lumpur 2023, at Zepp KL here on Jan 6.

Organised by Rocketfuel Entertainment in partnership with South Korean agency C9 Entertainment, the concert will feature the eight-member music outfit that was formerly known as C9Rookies.

The boy band is made up of Wish, Keum, MU, A-Min, Baekseung, Ayden, Yewang and Jeff, who represent the eight 'apex' levels that combine to form a solid and dynamic entertainment entity.

A statement from the organiser yesterday said that, "Eight Apex is heralded as a K-Pop group that has big potential in terms of music and talent, and could be 'the-next-big-thing' in the entertainment scene."

"This also represents Rocketfuel Entertainment's effort to introduce a new strategy following its establishment 10 years ago. So, we are presenting live entertainment by local as well as foreign artistes.

"Previously, we had showcased An Evening With Hael Husaini, Mimpi Showcase and A Night With Ara Johari. The next step is to bring international artistes to Malaysia," it said.

Eight Apex, which is gaining popularity, released its debut EP, Bipolar Pt 1, on June 8 last year and has since garnered several awards including The Male Idol On The Rise during the Hallyu Influencer Grand Prize Awards and Rookie Of The Year at the Seoul Music Awards.

The upcoming 120-minute Epex 1st Concert (Eight Apex) In Kuala Lumpur 2023 concert promises to have a few surprises for fans.

Tickets to the concert are priced at RM488, RM388 and RM288 and can be purchased via www.ticketcharge.com.my from this Firday (Nov 18).
