KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nad Zainal's condition has improved a little as she made some eye and hand movements, and even managed a nod.
Fellow actor and her close friend Ungku Ismail Aziz updated her condition saying that the 32-year-old artiste had shown some improvements.
"Praise be to God, she's showing some improvements and the doctors have already reduced the medication dosage for the past three days.
"However, the doctors are still administering an induced coma for her since she's still not out of the woods yet," he said in a news report yesterday.
Nad's friends and fans have recently set up an emergency fund to help lessen her family's burden in covering the cost of her medical treatments.
Nad has been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since last week.
"The fund is an initiative by Nad's friends and fans who are sincere in helping Nad, so let's help contribute if we want to. But should you not want to, there is no need to question why Nad needed the aid since she was already a sought-after actress," said Ungku Ismail.
