KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nad Zainal, 32, remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) but her condition "continues to improve".
Nad's close friend, actor Ungku Ismail Aziz, 36, revealed this in his Instagram post yesterday, and advised her friends and fans to "keep the faith".
Ungku Ismail also said that the charity fund set up to aid her medical expenses now stood at RM270,000.
"About three per cent of this fund goes to Tabung Kebajikan As-Siddiq for maintenance fees, and the rest goes to Nad's medical expenses," said Ungku Ismail who thanked all Malaysians who had contributed to Nad's fund.
Nad has been hospitalised at the ICU of Hospital KPJ Ampang Puteri in Ampang Jaya, Selangor since Nov 23 as a result of an auto-immune ailment, which has resulted in haemorrhaging in her lungs.
She has been placed under an induced coma by doctors, who have successfully halted the haemorrhaging.
The emergency fund was set up by her friends on Nov 30 to cover the cost of medical treatment.
