KUALA LUMPUR: Internationally-acclaimed Indian composer AR Rahman is set to welcome 60,000 fans at his concert in Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil tomorrow.
The 8pm concert, AR Rahman — Secret Of Success — Live In Malaysia 2023 is presented by DMY Creation Sdn Bhd, and features a star-studded lineup of Indian artistes to keep the audience enthralled.
DMY chairman and founder Datuk Mohamed Yusoff said that the concert was dedicated to all of Rahman's fans and the superstar dubbed the Mozart of Madras was humbled to be part of the concert.
"His concert has received tremendous support from more than 14 countries including Malaysia, India, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Australia, Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia.
"We hope that it will help make Malaysia a destination for musical tourism in future," said Mohamed in a statement today.
"Music unites us and we are proud to be part of this amazing concert."
Rahman has won two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, four National Film Awards and 15 Filmfare Awards among others.
He is best known for scoring the 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire directed by Danny Boyle.
