#Showbiz: BlackPink's Lisa buys luxury home in Seoul for RM26 million

KUALA LUMPUR: K-Pop queens BlackPink's youngest member Lisa Manoban has bought a luxury home in an affluent area of Seoul, South Korea.

Allkpop reported yesterday that the 25-year-old star purchased a two-storey detached house, which comes with a basement, in the Seongbuk-Dong neighbourhood for 7.5 billion won (RM26 million).

The Thailand-born singer signed the contract for the house in July last year and used cash to pay for the property.

South Korea's real estate registry showed that the house was built in 2016 and has a total floor area of 689.22 square metres.

The previous owner of the house was Chang Seon-Yoon, the granddaughter of businessman Shin Kyuk-Ho.

Seongbuk-Dong is home to celebrities such as actor Bae Yong-Joon and singer-actor Lee Seung-Gi.

Lisa's purchase comes two years after she was reportedly swindled of a billion won (RM3.5 million) by her former manager.
