KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Vanidah Imran admits that she was happy to find out that her ex-husband Rashidi Ishak has found a new life partner recently.
In a news report today, the 49-year-old artiste said Rashidi's new wife, Kampung People director Wan Hasliza Wan Zainuddin, is also an old pal of hers.
Vanidah said she and her children are also fond of Hasliza, whom she had once worked with for the movie Kalla: Hidup Atau Mati.
"I had known about their relationship for some time now, and when I heard that they were going to get married, I knew my daughter would get along well with her," she said.
Rashidi and Vanidah divorced in 2018 and they have two children from their union: Mikhail and Maryam Rashika.
Meanwhile, Vanidah ended her single motherhood status when she married Arifabillah Idris last July.
