#Showbiz: KRU comes up with KiKaKo Kids at Wetland Studios Putrajaya

KUALA LUMPUR: KRU Music has a brand new studio in Putrajaya, which is also an edutainment and technology-driven theme park with an adorable mascot trio.

Wetland Studios Putrajaya and its mascots the KiKaKo Kids were launched by Putrajaya Corporation president Datuk Fadlun Mak Ujud yesterday. The theme park at Putrajaya Wetlands Park will open its doors to the public in May.

KRU Group president Datuk Norman Abdul Halim said that the KiKaKo Kids, as water droplets who live in the clouds, promote environmental awareness and wildlife conservation while celebrating cultural diversity.

"The KiKaKo Kids comprise Kiki, Kaka, and Koko who encourage Malaysians to become responsible global citizens. They have released a series of popular nursery rhymes that we have co-produced with Universal Music. These songs plus future ones will be available on our Kartun Studios' YouTube channel," he said.

"The KiKaKo Kids will also have a permanent stage at Wetland Studios Putrajaya and perform every weekend, especially during the school holidays in May."

Norman said that the theme park will enable visitors to discover interesting facts about Earth, the significance of water in supporting life, and the ecosystem of various living things.

"The KiKaKo Kids share information on how every person can play a role to protect our planet and wildlife."

Universal Music Malaysia managing director Kim Lim said: "We are proud to be part of the KiKaKo Kids' journey. Having a stage at Wetland Studios, we hope to capture the attention of youngsters advocating positive values in a fun way."

The other attractions at Wetland Studios include animatronics, replicas and decorations based on nature, technologies such as holograms, augmented reality, mixed reality, virtual reality; and digital content featuring a variety of animated characters.
