#Showbiz: Actor Hafidz Roshdi issues ultimatum to ex-wife: Apologise and remove all public postings within 48 hours

KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Hafidz Roshdi has given his wife, Nurul Shuhada Mat Shukri, and related parties 48 hours to apologise and withdraw any public postings, including family photos related to his domestic issues.

Hafidz announced this through an open letter addressed to Nurul Shuhada via Instagram seven hours ago.

"For the sake of maintaining the well-being and safety of myself and the entire family, I humbly request and give Shu (Nurul) and other parties involved a period of 48 hours from now to withdraw any public publication and photos of my family (that) are related to the issue or my household case.

"I also want an open apology from your side. I want everyone to understand my situation.

"I had to take legal action against those who touched my family's dignity and privacy," he said.

Hafidz's domestic issues became a hot topic on social media following allegations of cheating.

On March 2, Nurul Shuhada filed a police report at the Jinjang Police Station, alleging that Hafidz had punched her several times, causing an eye injury.

It is reported that the incident allegedly occurred in a car at the Sungai Buloh R&R at the North-South Expressway.

Hafidz and his wife had divorced on Feb 23.

Hafidz went on to claim that Nurul Shuhada's Instagram status, uploaded on March 5, had humiliated his entire family.

He stated that the post had slandered his sister and accused his entire family of being toxic.

He requested that all parties involved refrain from making any comments until the truth behind the domestic issues had been established.

Hafidz also mentioned that the matter is currently under police investigation and will be tried in the Syariah Court.
