KUALA LUMPUR: After eight years of his last concert here, pop star Aaron Kwok is set to return for a two-night show in Genting Highlands in June.
The 57-year-old one quarter of Hong Kong's "Heavenly Kings" will stage his 'Aaron Kwok Amazing Kode World Tour Live In Malaysia 2023' concert at Resorts World Genting's Arena Of Stars on June 24 and 25.
After not touring for almost three years due to the pandemic, Kwok began the tour in Las Vegas, which was followed by concerts in Chicago, Atlantic City and Toronto.
"It's almost three years since I officially staged my last concert…I hope to see everyone at different sites, to share my new performance routines, complete with elaborate stage costumes, as well as my team's dedicated performance," he said in a press statement.
Three new young visualisation directors and designers – Ricky Sham, Kit Wan and Anson Lau – have been hired to design costumes for Kwok and his dance team, hoping to present to fans a performance with new visual effects.
For this tour, Kwok will bring the best of his previous years to the new stage, with a series of signature classic dance songs such as I Love You Forever, Love's Calling, Generation Next, Crazy City, and Para Para Sakura.
The concert here is presented by Jazzy Group, and tickets are priced at RM1188 (VIP), RM888 (PS1), RM688 (PS2), RM488 (PS3) and RM288 (PS4) and will be available at rwgenting.com and ticketcharge.com.my from March 27 at 10am onwards.
