KUALA LUMPUR: Pop queen Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin may have a Hari Raya Aidilfitri concert soon, and she hopes to get as many big names as possible to join her.
The singer who has more than 10 Hari Raya songs to her name said that she had not been involved in a Hari Raya showcase for some years now and figured it would be good to have one this year.
"My fans have asked when I'd be having a Hari Raya concert with fellow artistes. Friends in the media have also been asking me this. I think the time is right, and I'll speak to my manager about it," said Siti in a recent news report.
Siti added that in the concert she planned to sing both her Hari Raya songs and those made popular by legendary singers of yesteryears.
Siti's next major concert is Konsert Satu Suara Volume 3 at Mega Star Arena, Sungei Wang Plaza, Jalan Sultan Ismail here at 8.30pm on May 13. The concert also features Jay Jay and Ernie Zakri.
