Here are some of the state's theme parks, waterparks and sports activities, as suggested by Tourism Selangor.

WATER PARKS

A one-stop fun destination, Sunway Lagoon located in Subang Jaya offers over 90 attractions spread across 88 acres!

It is an ultimate theme park experience in six adventure zones: Water Park, Amusement Park, Wildlife Park, Extreme Park, Scream Park, and Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon, Asia's first Nickelodeon Themed Land.

You could easily spend the entire day here once you enter! Sunway Lagoon opens daily except Tuesday from 10am - 6pm.

Spend a day relaxing, swimming, and playing at Bangi Wonderland in Bangi and try out all 14 attractions and slides.

Whether you want to get your adrenaline pounding on some high-speed waterslides or simply want a place to relax with the family, its water theme park is regarded as a fun centre for people of all ages.

Don't forget to ride down its colourful longest waterslide, Insane Racer, which is a children-friendly slide.

Bangi Wonderland opens daily except Tuesday from 11am - 6pm while during the weekend it operates from 10am - 6pm.

Family-oriented water theme park Wet World Water Park Shah Alam promises value-for-money fun.

The Monsoon Buster ride, a 225-meter-long water slide that pushes riders up, is the main attraction.

The water park opens daily except Wednesday from 10am - 6pm.

WaterWorld is i-City's water park, which complements the City of Digital Lights as a night tourist destination by allowing guests to enjoy i-City during the day.

With its wide range of water rides, it provides hours of aquatic enjoyment for the entire family. Don't forget to check out The Giant Jacuzzi, Spiral and Rainbow Slides.

WaterWorld i-City opens at 11am - 6pm while on the weekend it opens at 10 am - 6pm and closes every Tuesday.

Riverine Splash Water Theme Park @ Amverton Cove, Kuala Langat features a tribal-themed Riverine Splash Water Theme Park.

There are over 12 attractions and slides including the Anaconda Tube Slide, Rimba River, Survival Park and even Kiddie Beats reserved for children.

The Riverine Splash Water Theme Park is closed every Tuesday and is open from 10am to 6pm.

THEME PARKS

KidZania Kuala Lumpur in Mutiara Damansara is where children may live independently and better comprehend the world of adults by being adults themselves.

It is an indoor family-themed learning centre where children can experience adult life in a city model.

There is a variety of role-playing exercises that are specifically designed to help physical and intellectual development.

KidZania opens daily except on Tuesday from 10am - 6pm.

The City of Lights, i-City, dazzles the nightscapes with magnificent LED lightscapes.

During the day, you can visit Malaysia's first interactive wax museum, Red Carpet 2.

To add to the thrill, you might enjoy a frigid winter below 8 degrees Celsius at SnowWalk, a winter play area.

Families looking for endless experience pleasure, will be able to enjoy all of the fascinating rides and activities at i-City Leisure Theme Park.

Escape Petaling Jaya is the modern-day solution to the problem of underdeveloped life skills among us caused by a lack of play.

It transforms exhilarating rides and games from the natural outdoors into a modern setting at Paradigm Mall.

The rides and games demonstrate that there is no age limit to having fun, as they have been designed for a wide range of age groups, talents, and energy levels.

It is closed every Monday and the operating hours are from 10am - 8pm.

The recently opened Gamuda Cove's entertainment component, Discovery Park is an amusement park featuring a variety of attractions, ranging from first-in-Malaysia attractions to adrenaline-pumping activities.

Explore all eight adventure activities contained within, which include climbing, sliding, riding, jumping, free falling, and flying.

With this multi-entry ticket, you can play and stop whenever you choose.

District 21 opens daily from noon to 8pm during the weekdays and 10am - 8pm during the weekend.

RollerWa is Malaysia's first indoor skating rink which is located at One Utama shopping mall.

A two-hour session that includes renting a skating rink, skates and safety equipment priced at RM38 for adults and RM28 for children under the age of 18. The one-day rental cost is RM68 for adults and RM58 for under 18s.

There are also instructors on duty who will give you guidance and tutoring; it is recommended that you wear complete safety equipment.

Also, RollerWa is an Instagrammable spot location, as it has set up two Photo Booths to take photos with family and friends with stunning neon lighting.

RECREATIONAL PARKS

Skytrex Adventure Sg Congkak is the 'Malaysia's First Flying Fox Park by Skytrex,' offering more Flying Fox features and a longer track than any other branches. Jump Street Trampolline Park, Petaling Jaya is an urban playground dedicated to jumping, bouncing, rolling and any other anti -gravity activity.

Also in One Utama is a stream riding simulator, FlowRider.

It is a hybrid board sport that combines skating, snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding and skiboarding techniques.

Experience endless waves with the help of a competent instructor, whether you are a beginner surfer or a skilled surfer.

Riders can glide up and down, perform stunts, and spin on the resulting wave-like shape.

Want to experience Skydiving? Head to WindLab Indoor Skydiving, also located at One Utama.

It is a recreation of a 14,000 feet outdoor skydive, one of the most popular thrill rides and sports in Asia.

Everyone who has ever wanted to fly can come and experience the sensation of flight.

The all-glass panelled circular wind tunnel provides a cushion of air in a 3.6 meter diameter, 9.7 meter high flight chamber, where the flyer enters and becomes airborne, all within the grasp of a skilled teacher.

The chamber's base is a trampoline floor made of aircraft- quality stainless steel, and with wind speeds of up to 250 km/h.
