#JOM! GO: Hong Kong is back on the map

FINALLY! After years of closed borders, Hong Kong is now prepared to welcome travellers with the recent launch of its global promotional campaign "Hello Hong Kong".

To entice globetrotters to visit  the city-state, the campaign offers 500,000 free air tickets courtesy of the Airport Authority Hong Kong to different markets in phases, through three home-based carriers, namely Cathay Pacific Airways, Hong Kong Express and Hong Kong Airlines, starting from March.

Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) chairman Dr Pang Yiu-kai is confident that Hong Kong's East-meets-West culture, together with its iconic and brand-new attractions and experiences will attract travellers for an unforgettable journey.

"We are extending a biggest welcome to the world through the 'Hello Hong Kong' campaign, inviting travellers to return to one of the world's greatest tourism destinations," he said.

The campaign, which includes a series of vibrant promotional contents broadcast on 3,000 platforms worldwide, also offers an array of welcoming offers from over 16,000 outlets across the city.

One of them is "Hong Kong Goodies" visitor consumption vouchers, which give visitors a complimentary welcome drink at participating bars, restaurants, and hotels, or a cash voucher to be redeemed in the transportation, culinary and retail sectors, as well as attractions.

Hong Kong has also launched few new and upgraded attractions like M+ and Hong Kong Palace Museum at the West Kowloon Cultural District, the new sixth-generation Peak Tram, Water World Ocean Park, the new night-time show "Momentous" at Hong Kong Disneyland and enhanced waterfront promenades offering spectacular new ways to admire Victoria Harbour.
