Chaos at the court house ahead of Samirah Muzaffar's trial decision [NSTTV]

SHAH ALAM: There was a moment of heated chaos this morning prior to the decision of the murder trial of Cradle Fund CEO Nazrin Hassan at the High Court, here.

The chaos erupted when members of the press were trying to take pictures of Samirah Muzaffar and her lawyer.

A lawyer was said to have shouted for the crowding press members to make way for them to pass.

A shoving incident ensued, leading to a verbal war of words.

Photographers present managed to shoot a video of the chaos.

The trial which ended today saw Samirah and two teenagers walking free without having to enter their defence for the charge of murdering Nazrin.

Samirah, 47, who is also Nazrin's widow and the two teens aged 16 and 19, arrived at the court at about 9.10am accompanied by a lawyer and family members.

High Court Judge Datuk Ab Karim Ab Rahman announced the decision at the end of the prosecution case this morning.

On March 12, 2019, Samirah, and the two teenagers, as well as an Indonesian woman, Eka Wahyu Lestari, who is still at large, were all charged with murdering Nazrin at his house in Mutiara Damansara, between 11.30pm on June 13, 2018, and 4am the following day.
