SUNGAI PETANI: Police detained a 13-year-old boy after he allegedly threatened a 10-year-old boy at knifepoint to perform oral sex on him.
Kuala Muda police chief Assistant Commissioner Zaidy Che Hassan said the boys were from the same neighbourhood.
The incident took place at 4.30pm on Sunday when the teen allegedly approached the boy in a Perodua Kancil that he was driving, asking the boy to join him for a ride.
Once the boy got into the car, he was forced to hold the teen's penis and perform oral sex. The boy refused.
He was then taken to the teen's home, where he was again told to perform the act.
"The boy was slapped for not giving in to the teen. He was also threatened at knifepoint and choked."
The boy, however, escaped and returned to his home.
Zaidy said the boy suffered a bruise on his right cheek and a scratch on the left side of his chest. The boy also had a minor wound on the right side of his body, as well as on his right knee.
"There were no eyewitnesses to the incident," added Zaidy.
The boy's father lodged a report at the Gurun police station for fear of his son's safety.
Police detained the teen at his home at 7.20pm on the same day. He is now on his third day of his four-day remand order.
