Rosmah and Nooryana in court to attend Najib's trial [NSTTV]

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak was back in court today to attend his 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) trial after being hospitalised while serving his jail sentence at the Kajang Prison.

His first day back in court after undergoing rehabilation treatment at the Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital saw his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and daughter Nooryana Najwa also atteding the proceedings to lend their support.

Both of them arrived at the complex in Jalan Duta early this morning as the proceedings got into way.

It was reported that the former prime minister's 1MDB trial was postponed last week after he suffered from health issues.

However, he has since been given the all clear and was sent back to Kajang Prison two days ago.

Najib, 69, is facing four charges of using his position to obtain bribes totalling RM2.3 billion from 1MDB funds and 21 charges of money laundering involving the same amount.
