Four Thai men nabbed with pills, guns in Sg Golok

KOTA BARU: Four Thai men were arrested with firearms as well as methamphetamine pills in an anti-drug operation in Sungai Golok town recently.

Sungai Golok police chief, Colonel Pratya Baite said the four were detained in a raid at a house in the sub-border town on Friday.

He said apart from 160 methamphetamine pills, police also seized three guns and several bullets.

"A police team from the Sungai Golok police station raided the house after receiving a public tip-off on possible drug activities.

"The raid produced drugs and firearms. Also seized were several mobile phone and Thai currency," he said.

He said some of four were believed to be drug pushers.

They have been detained for further investigation.
