KAJANG: The human body found stuffed in a luggage bag and dumped in Cheras Perdana is believed to be that of a foreign man.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said this was because there was no scar from a BCG jab found on the victim's arm.
"The autopsy was conducted at 11am today and no other injuries were discovered other than a broken nose.
"The body was complete and clothed when it was found. The cause of death has yet be determined and we are waiting for the results of a laboratory analysis," he said.
He said the deceased was believed to be in his 20s and was 155cm tall, weighing 45kg.
"He was wearing floral shorts and had a ring on one of the fingers on his right hand.
"We urge anyone who is missing a family member or friend to come forward to identify the body at the Serdang Hospital," he said.
It was reported yesterday that the body of a man was stuffed into a luggage bag and left near a drain in Cheras Perdana, Bandar Tun Hussien Onn, here.
