KUALA LUMPUR: Candidates sitting for the 2021 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) will take their examination in February and March next year.
Senior Education Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Jidin said the oral and practical tests would be conducted in February 2022, while the written exams would be conducted in March 2022.
"We understand the concerns of candidates sitting for the 2021 SPM, who are worried that they would not have enough time, therefore we will hold the 2021 SPM examination in February and March next year."
With home-based learning set to restart in mid-June, Radzi assured that exam year students would be the first in line to return to physical classes, if the situation permits.
"If schools can reopen, classes with examinations will return to school first. They will be the priority," he added.
