KUALA LUMPUR: The Cabinet has taken note of the Palace's statement on the King's decision not to declare a state of emergency, made after a Malay Ruler's meeting on Sunday.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, in a statement tonight, said Cabinet will discuss the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah's decree in further detail.
"It is the priority of Cabinet and the government at this time to protect the people from the Covid-19 pandemic."
Muhyiddin also expressed his appreciation for the trust the King had given to his administration, adding that he welcomes advice to ensure that the government's stability is not be compromised.
