KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) has urged all mosques and surau in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya to hold solat hajat (prayer of need) to seek Allah's protection due to the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in the country.
Jawi director Mohd Ajib Ismail said in a statement late last night that solat hajat should be performed today (Nov 6) after Friday prayers and from Nov 7 until 9 after Maghrib prayers. - Bernama
