KUALA LUMPUR: Married couples staying at different states are also barred from crossing state borders during the Movement Control Order (MCO).
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said he hoped those involved would be patient as the MCO would only be enforced for two weeks.
"If the situation improves in two weeks, areas placed under MCO will be put under the Conditional MCO and areas under CMCO will be under the Recovery MCO.
"I hope they will be patient for the time being. They will not be allowed to travel interstate from Jan 13 to Jan 26 (but) the matter will be reconsidered after that," he told reporters.
Interstate travel has been barred nationwide, while inter-district travel is also not allowed in places under the MCO.
